Theatre

One of Stephanie Hackers fields of work is the cooperation in theatre productions and the writing of plays and music for the theatre. As a pianist and actress she was taking part in productions of the Wiener Burgtheater. For the Taschenoper Wien and the Theater der Jugend Wien she worked as musical director and repetiteur for several productions. In 2009 she wrote her first play, the children’s musical “Freddie Feinspitz”, and put it on stage in cooperation with the children’s choir she works with as a music teacher, in 2011 she wrote the piece „Anders“ together with the actor Matthias Hacker. Currently she is working on her new play “Der Puppenkrimi”, the opening night is scheduled for June 2013.
